Tempora mutantur - but watches are a constant like time itself. My favourite piece is actually a Casio G-Shock Riseman Solar because its barometric pressure sensor has never let me down, when crossing the Bering Strait or on expeditions in places like Greenland, Svalbard and Kamchatka. I own a Tag Heuer Aquaracer and some vintage Seiko models. I used to work in the watch industry many years ago and from time to time I buy and sell watches when the opportunity arises. 2006 Timpson Watch Repairer of the Year.
