Fashion, makeup, and having a stylist cut and color my hair, never seemed very important to me. I had a tiny body with a toned ass and a tan six pack. Nothing on me looked wrong, and I rarely wore makeup; it wasn't needed. Then 30 years of parenting, and stresses that went with that, did a number on my body. Makeup and fashion were not important then because I was forced to put all of my energy into just surviving.
Thanks to a mirror I passed by in a department store, I had a revelation that, passed 50, I would have to make some changes or hide in my bedroom till death. So after A VERY LOT of time on the internet, I've come up with my own style which reveals what I want to show off and delicately covers the things I don't. It says 50, but NOT 50! It's current, it's classy, a bit sassy.
I've cleaned out my closet and stripped it down to the basics, and a few fun things. So, you all get to benefit from my cleaning. There are so many things that I bought before COVID, that have never been worn. While I sat at home, so many months, I put some weight on and I had to by another wardrobe. I had to face that some of the stuff I may never wear, causing me to part with things I love and never got to wear, and others that I never managed to work into my wardrobe. Wearing things that dont fit properly anymore just makes me look messy, old, and not put together.
So OUT THEY GO. This amount of clothing will not go up all at once. There's just too much. I'll try to post summer items now, then move to fall, winter etc.
